Shell programming with bash

Overview:

Shell scripts can be used on Linux for many purposes. Examples are the administration of services (start, stop), the automation of activities, and additional actions when installing or uninstalling software packages. Good knowledge of shell scripts is a requirement for any Linux administrator. The default shell in Linux is bash; the programming functions are covered in this course.

Target Group:

Administrators who want to create their own shell scripts for administration purposes.

Prerequisites:

Participants must have a good and secure working knowledge of the bash. Good command of the vi editor is essential.
