Overview:

For larger system environments a centralized management is essential. Puppet provides a versatile and easy to use way to manage configuration files. When it comes to the installation of new systems and the central management software on a network, this can be realized with Spacewalk. Spacewalk is the basis for the commercial products Red Hat Satellite Server and SUSE Manager and can manage various Linux distributions.

Administrators who want to manage larger system environments centrally and automatically .

Prerequisites:

Thorough knowledge of the administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and CentOS 6 is required. Secure handling of the vi editor also part of the prerequisite for this workshop.
